In this chapter, Claire takes on another job as a Ranger, this time saving a bunch of poor bear cubs from ruthless poachers and pacifying their protector, Bubba the Bear, in the same amorous way as before. After this, she heads deeper into the wood to find Lady Rowena and save her from her demonic captor - only to find out, much to her surprise, that the Lady isn't really in need of saving...
